Drawing Competition
Event Date: Fri Dec 23 2011

Jain Animation School kick started the holiday festivities with a Christmas tree decoration at JGI Knowledge Campus, Jayanagar 9th Block, followed by a drawing competition and display of student’s Art Gallery.

As part of the celebration, a Creative Drawing Competition was organized on the theme – “CORRUPTION – EXPRESS YOUR THOUGHTS”. There was active participation from the students of PUC from the Jayanagar, V.V.Puram and J.C. road campuses. The day saw a huge pool of talent in terms of pencil sketching, water colors, charcoal, crayons and other mediums.

The winners of the competition are as follows.

First Prize: Rishab. S, II PCME ‘B’

Second Prize: Yashaswini. Y, I ABES ‘B’

Third Prize: Rigzen Norboo, I ABEM

Special Prizes: Apoorva Yadav, I ABEM and Annapoorna. S, II ABES ‘A’

Congratulations to all the winners!!

The Art Gallery showcased the artworks of the degree and diploma students of animation and the creations of Visual Architecture students.

International Animation Day

Jain Animation School celebrated the 10th International Animation Day at JGI Knowledge Campus, Jayanagar 9th Block on 28th October 2011.



The highlights of the occassion were:-
Painting contest for 1st sem B.Sc. Animation students

Coloring contest for 1st sem Diploma 2011
Theme: various

Poster design for 1st sem Graphics 2011
Theme: Go Green

The Degree and Diploma students also displayed their artworks.
Dr. B.T. Venkatesh - Center Head - Jayanagar Campus, Mr. Vasu - Principal, PU Commerce, Prof. Nandagopal - TEL, Members of the teaching staff and EDP department also joined the celebration.

Dr. Eeswaran Iyer, Dean of Commerce, Jain University distributed the prizes.

Jain Animation School (JAS) was recently launched at JGI Knowledge Campus in Bangalore with an enthusiastic and supportive crowd who cheered all along the event.

This occasion brought together dignitaries from various walks of life, Dr. R. Chenraj Jain, Chairman, Jain Group of Institutions; Anand Gurnani, CEO, Animation Xpress; Shreedhar Khakade, Animation Director and Entrepreneur; and Vasanth, South Film Actor.
